Pentel P207 is my favorite mechanical pencil. It’s a refillable pencil (the erasers too) that is built so well that I have never had one malfunction, yet is inexpensive enough that I don’t mind if I lose one.

I just picked up a P205 and P209 (different leads, lighter/darker lines) and I’m excited to try out the more expensive PS535 and the PS315. As far as I can tell the PS535 and the PS315 have a sleeve mechanism that keeps the lead more sturdy, yet other than that there isn’t much of a difference.
